Daytime Specialty Camps
Our Hitting, Setting, Passing, Serving, and Blocking camps focus on breaking down the skills and re-training the muscles to use the correct form for not only skill improvement but also for injury prevention.
Mechanics level Camps are the pre-requisite for the Club level Camps in each skill. Players need to have completed the Club camp and receive instructor approval to move onto the Elite Camp.
The Hitters Elite Camp will take what the players have learned at the Mechanics and Club level and move them onto the court to work on their timing and ball contact. The Setters Elite Camp focuses on advanced setting techniques. We feel that for players to be successful with the Elite camps they need to have put in the time necessary to train their muscles, and if by the end of the Club camp they are not correctly executing the basic skills the player is not yet ready to add the advanced elements of the skill.
Each specialized camp will make use of the Dartfish Video Analysis software to breakdown what the player is currently doing and give a detailed analysis of changes needed to improve their form and results.
We have had great success with our Hitters training using the Solo Spike Protocol and are very excited to now incorporate the same attention to detail and correct form using brand new Passing and Setting Protocol provided by the Solo Spike group.
